Restaurants on Tybee Island Sundae Cafe#1. Sundae Café is considered by most as the hands down best place to eat on the island. The restaurant ranks high with other fine eateries you’ll find in Savannah or almost anywhere. It’s a small restaurant, owned and operated by some local chefs. From steaks to seafood, everything on this menu is fantastic. The restaurant is usually quite busy so it’s best to make a reservation ahead of time. (912) 786-7694


Restaurants on Tybee IslandCocos Sunset Grill Tybee#2. CoCo’s Sunset Grill has amazing views and fresh local Seafood caught daily. Coco’s has a great staff, provides an excellent value and is one of favorite restaurants on Tybee Island. Restaurants on Tybee Island The Crab Shack#3. The Crab Shack is one of Tybee Island’s most popular and famous restaurants, and it is visited by many of the locals to satisfy their seafood cravings. Over the years this unique restaurant has received many awards, since 1998 it has been voted “Best Seafood” and the “Best Outdoor Dining”. The restaurant has a live alligator exhibit (where visitors can feed the alligators), exotic birds and dolphins in a creek nearby. Restaurants on Tybee Island AJs#4. A-J’s Dockside Restaurant features a good selection of seafood including snow crab legs, crab stew, deviled crab, oysters, shrimp and a few different types of fish. The restaurant is located on the Back River, has a small marina and provides outdoor seating on its deck which is a great place to view a Tybee Island sunset.
